Anybody else enter ~3000 giveaways and not win anything? Or only 1 thing, particularly something that had almost no entries cause it was a terrible game?

Nope but why are you entering giveaways for games you think are terrible...?

Well I don't anymore. I originally did it because I was somewhat skeptical of the site and was anxious to win something. Needless to say, the game I won was from a humble bundle I had purchased after already winning the game, so I gave the game away.

Wow....with how many giveaways you've won. It's about a game every ~580 entries or so on average. I'v entered close to 2800 now without winning anything. I enter almost a dozen or more giveaways almost every day for months now.

He is active in the community and gets invited to nice higher chance giveaways. Half of your community participation to date has been to complain about a lack of wins, and your dislike for your single win.

Then again, only 3 of my 24 wins are private or group. Still, Delta's point is very valid: participate in the community/forum and you'll find giveaways with better chances of winning.

I actually don't have any community participation at all, which is not required to win, so saying half of my participation is complaining is pretty stupid. Not to mention you yourself cannot empathize with me at all since your average is a game every ~215 entries which is astounding to me. This is the first time I'v complained because I'm slightly upset that I'v won nothing after so long despite having provided 8 games myself. I can honestly say that 99% of peoples profile have an outstanding ratio of entry to win. I guess I fall in the 1%. It would be nice to know more particulars on their system of choosing winners. Because somehow I doubt it's just RNG at this point.

Unfortunately I don't have the much time in my days to allocate towards forum chatting right now. Which is precisely why I have no community participation.

I never said it is required. But, being a generous person and popular here means I get invited to all the nice giveaways, while you go ignored. See how it works? I've given more than 350 games away, and been posting here in thousands of topics. So, I get invited to nice giveaways.

And make that more than half your posts now *****ing about it.

It is all random. But because we are better known that some rude jerk, we get giveaways with higher odds than the publics you enter.

I never bothered calculating that. It seems lower than I would expect. Hopefully, the "estimated wins" feature on profile pages will come back soon. It'll give you a better idea of "how lucky" you are. It's all just simple statistics.

In life there are winner and losers.

Here's hoping you're one!

only enter on games you want, it raises your chances to get the games you want and lowers the chance of all others who want the game to be loser, you wouldnt play games you didnt want anyways its kinda unfair too XD

Thats why I would give back to the community. Any games I'v given away were games I did not want. It would be pointless to stockpile games I would never ever play like some people with 2000+ games on steam.

exactly and besides that, if someone thinks he needs a game that badly, there is also nothing wrong about taking a job lol
