Do you not get this "Complete your set" bundle?

Just want to make sure you know the DLC doesn't provide any content-- just character buffs/items to decrease the amount of grinding for playing at higher levels / getting grindy achievements.

is just for skip grind. If you dont mind grind/dont want to spend more is better to skip the DLCs.
I'll buy just the base game, I don't really mind grind for tha achivements

The only other thing I'd note is that it does provide a fifth character-- a Druid. You can play him along with the other four in the same game.

The Druid DLC is a new playable character, but you're right about the rest of the DLC.

If you've played Gloomhaven, this is basically a simpler, more primitive version of that. It's a good adaptation of the board game, but there are better options out there.

I already have the base game and a few dlcs that came from a bundle. I may as well complete the dlc collection as they are on sale before getting de listed.

None are "required". Qawasha The Human Druid adds a 5th character (the Druid, obviously), plus the ability to play with all 5 characters at the same time. Apparently there's also an achievement you can only get if you have the Druid in your party. Otherwise, all the DLC are essentially "skip the grinding" stuff and stuff that don't affect the game at all, like "Artus Climber's Explorer Pack" contains a wallpaper and fancy digital d20 which only changes the way the dice look, but also contains a special weapon (Legendary Dragon Longbow), permanent +1 Adrenaline on all monster kills, 5000 gold, and a chest with 40x each of Diamond, Dragon Hide, Adamantine, and Weirwood. All of those except the "+1 adrenaline" bonus can be found by playing the game, it'll just take longer. You'll still get the adrenaline, too, it'll just take longer to accumulate.

Thanks, I already own the base game and intend to play it.
Since the comments here seem to suggest all the DLCs are useless except the Druid one, I'll grab that one. =)

It seems the 85% sale has ended, so now it's back to full price.

Thanks, I had wanted that and would have been so upset if I missed it.

Tales from Candlekeep: Tomb of Annihilation is leaving Steam May 20th since the studio's license for the D&D IP is about to expire and they're not renewing it. It and it's DLC are on sale until then. It has: 5 DLC, Steam cards, Steam achievements, and is single player. It is not like Baldur's Gate or some those other D&D games nor a "true" D&D experience/game but is more strategy game with the D&D IP slapped onto it. It has mostly positive reviews. Been bundled 7 times according to IsThereAnyDeal; 6 on Fanatical and once on Humble. The current sale price of 85% off makes it £1.79 / $2.39.
PCGamesN Article about it; this is where I first saw the news a bit ago and figured I would see if a post been made here yet.

(Note, that the sale the game is involved in says the deal is until May 9th)
((Small side note: Been a bit since I posted something, so if I missed any info or accidently borked the formatting, I will fix that after posting.))
