DayZ as a standalone game!

I dont think so. You have few examples like that. Counter Strike, Killing Floor, Red Orchestra. The only free game I know that is a mod remake is Alien Swarm.

Now I hope that ARMA II get rid of those COD kids that only bought DayZ to kill whatever they see moving. I've played ARMA II and only didn't bought it because I'm saving money for ARMA III, this sim is awesome.

And now I can buy DayZ too and suppot the developers with this great game and try to play with mature gamers.

Countless hours of my time has been spent in the the editor. I'll approximately about 400-600 unrecorded hours. The rest were about 400-500 hours on the game, about 400-500 hours recorded playing.

I hate him for that decision. He should liek make a special price for people who actually bought arma 2 for this mod. But he still makes awesome decisions on game balancing. Though I will probably buy that one too.

Actually we knew this since the beginning of July. Thats one of the reason i didnt buy arma II as it was 40% off during the steam sales. (FUCKING 40% for a game that was already 80% off in last wintersale and just because of a popular mod ..)
