Games to win
Reigns: Her Majesty

Running until May 7, 2018, 21:59 (CET) - If you are on my whitelist and don't want to solve the 'second' puzzle you can request a direct link to it (as I haven't found that option on sgtools).

So ... again a little train:

http://www.sgtools.info/giveaways/???3c???-4f09-11e8-b5f5-fa163ee2f826

2.) 5KM1NzNkmRtzcZXKTzmWLwFTH7L3EBPTUXaMN12kx8eKeqVHqJb
1.) 5JhkHgH2t2uwgdCrT322CyK1pVdiaKzFtBu4npEEfW83ZurPkq3

Hint: Maybe this and googling those prefixes will help.
This page might help you and this one might be interesting, too.
You will get something and have to use the first ? letters != 1.

Hint 2: A pseudo-code to solve the puzzle:
PUZZLE(5KM1NzNkmRtzcZXKTzmWLwFTH7L3EBPTUXaMN12kx8eKeqVHqJb, 5JhkHgH2t2uwgdCrT322CyK1pVdiaKzFtBu4npEEfW83ZurPkq3)

(1) PUZZLE (info1, info2)
(2)       pubAddr1 := CalculatePublicBitcoinAddressFromPrivateKey(info2);
(3)       pubAddr2 := CalculatePublicBitcoinAddressFromPrivateKey(info1);
(4)       sgtoolsLink := "http://www.sgtools.info/giveaways/???3c???-4f09-11e8-b5f5-fa163ee2f826"
(5)       sgtoolsLink.replaceFirst(???, FirstNonOne(pubAddr1, 3))
(6)       sgtoolsLink.replaceSecond(???, FirstNonOne(pubAddr2, 3))
(7)       return sgtoolsLink;
(1) CalculatePublicBitcoinAddressFromPrivateKey (privateWIFKey)
(2)     return justPasteItInWalletDetailsOnBitaddress(privateWIFKey)

SGTools-Rules you will here encounter:

  • Minimum of 5 CV with public giveaways
  • Minimum of a real CV ratio of 0.35 (Sent/Won)
  • Standard rules (Account in good stance)

Good luck! xxd :)

(If you think you are by mistake on my blacklist: Add me on steam and I will try to tell you & under circumstances remove you)

I have added a hint - I don't want this to be too hard ^-^.

Nice that you give hints. Please take my words not against you because that is not my intention.

i looked up and see 3 links and a lot of ABC/number colums + calculate bitcoinadress (WTF) ... looks like a math study... i am out

Okay, last first-giveaways-running-out-in27minutes-on-mobile-bump.
Still good chances (< 5 entries each)!

I'm super confused. Isn't this kind of cryptography supposed to be impossible to reverse?

Getting the private key from a public key is 'impossible' (actually possible, there is just no algorithm known to do it in 'acceptable' (not even a lifetime) time) - but well .. this isn't the direction you need here.

I'm still really lost. I've put the addresses into a bunch of converters, plugged the first six characters that aren't 1 into the question marks, and gotten nothing. Plus I'm pretty sure some of these websites are mining coins in my browser.

Use the page I linked. It is open source and can do everything you need for the first puzzle (the second puzzle is in the last wagon of the train).

If you still need help you can add me if you want! (this goes to everybody btw.)

"What are you doing?"
"Trying to decode some base58 encryption... I think... maybe"
"You do realise that it is 4am"
"Yep, I am lost here, I'm going to bed"

Maybe try making it 'public'! :)

I think, if nobody solved it until tomorrow 12/13 (CET) I will just remove the puzzle to give all access to the train & puzzle 2.

Bump for the original puzzle that for once wasn't completely cryptic to me ^^
Also careful with Désiré, it's not detected by the API and it's not very easy to search in the Steam client because of the accents (searching for "desire" won't work)

Hmm. Wasn't aware of that.

Will it though detected when it gets published in 6 days or not then, too?

Oh.... My mistake then, the one I already have is https://store.steampowered.com/app/399700/ (and it's also the one that's selected as the GA). The one in the table is https://store.steampowered.com/app/805760/Desire/ and I don't have it

As the one in the giveaway links to a page not existing (and I think it is key for it, too) and I just haven't found a proper store page for it, I put the 805760 one as it seems to be the same game, but not id.

Looks like the author managed to get someone to republish the game for him. The original game was banned since the author mess with steam review just "for fun".

Just kidding. It was confusing as heck. Anyone could've made the same mistake.

As it still seems quite hard or some are just not interested & I am now gone for the rest of the evening (I think):
I added a final hint, which should be ... self explaining.

The final hint tells me I need to generate a public key from the data you gave as private keys, which I still don't know how to do. Google isn't helping.

Is the other page (bitaddress.org) no help either? :)
Try and click around on it - maybe you will see something that can help you (and will fit the pseudo code).

Bump for solved, can't join due to crappy ratio, but whatever.

I don't know much about bitcoin, but for some reason, the address is different when I use the algorithm on this other site. Perhaps the algorithm on this site I found is wrong?

You can try to solve the second stage from here, without the first gate or go the "backdoor" way through my Lara Craft GO giveaway :)

I gave you the key already in WIF - you page starts ways before (you would have to calculate the "normal" private key format (EC-KeyPair (256 Bit number I think)) back and the start at step 1)

Thanks for allowing me to join the GA.

I decomposed the WIF to private key and it generated the same checksum and WIF, but looks like the site gives a different address at the end.

5KM1NzNkmRtzcZXKTzmWLwFTH7L3EBPTUXaMN12kx8eKeqVHqJb generates this address 129iXRPRzTjKzcr24PgsiDiGvXTHy1wf7U, instead of the correct one in the other tool.

;)

Hmm, don't got time on my hands, to check what is differently calculated - but a possibility is, that it is for a coin named "Billcoin" not for actual Bitcoinaddresses.
