It was big news a couple months ago. There even was a post made on Desura, where the owners claimed they were going to fix everything, and pay all the devs on time, etc.. Needless to say it got a lot of comments and they just went radio silent after that.

You can still log into the website and the client still works. Remember, if you own a game and you go to the game page, you can download it and play it outside of the client. This can be useful in case Desura ever goes offline. I already downloaded a few of my more important games to a flash drive a few months ago and they run just fine.

Best thing to do is to use the key scraper to grab any leftover Steam key you have in your collection, just in case they close down completely.

FYI, that was months before and LadyAijou + several others are no longer apart of Desura/BadJuJu since they were let go and only found out via trying to login to mail. Not even the staff found out til it happened.

months, that was only like 9 days before this article, i guess it's unclear if Desura knew about Bad JuJu Games, Inc. at that stage, you'd think they would have released another statement when this information come out though
