I think it actually sounds a lot like all that kids stuff on tv now. Don't know all their names, but things like totally spies, Kim possible, that thing where aliens frequently get through portals (there are actually more of those), so no. To be honest, I don't think your idea is so off, maybe you should just change channels on tv. :P

i dunno, maybe soemthing like, while triying to get a driver´s license, they have to chase a car, crashing it a lot of times until the enemy has to get off while still managing to get the license, or having to snipe the terrorist who try to infiltrate the prom party silently, so nobody gets scared.
