WARNING: 38 minutes long
For anyone who has not been attentive to James Romine's/Digital Homicide's lawsuit against Jim Sterling, the video link below will explain what happened in court and how the case went. Obviously, Jim won the case - which is the cherry on top - so the video is the rest of the delicious cake.

Well, I never would have expected that outcome........

On a more serious note, I think it's something that should never have happened and, whilst I have been as "guilty" as any when it comes to my damning opinion of the behaviour of the Romine Bros(kept mainly to myself and a couple of friends in private), is not really something that has been a "good thing" for either side.

I think that the various attempted suits, coupled with their wild conspiracy theories and claims of en masse, orchestrated campaigns against them in smoke filled rooms show that either they were attempting to protect a cushy income stream or that they are genuinely mentally unwell.

I sincerely hope, for their sake, it was the former however given what they tried to do with Valve in demanding access to Steam users' personal info to file a "reverse class action" show it much more likely to have been the latter.

I am very pleased for Jim that it is all done with, and that he - aforementioned video response notwithstanding - took the moral high ground and did not try and pursue it further. I just hope his legal costs were not as high as I, sadly, suspect they may have been.

Maybe at least Jim's money will not have been totally wasted and that this will serve as a well publicised warning to any others who may consider such actions in the future; my pessimistic opinion of people does not lead me to hold out that much hope that it does so.......

Thank God for Jim!!!
