I got a new PC with new windows (needed windows 10 for the new parts and used windows 7 before) and I copied all save files before but still lost some, later I found out that some games put the save files in your registry...UGH!

Torchlight II. Played for 21 hours. Suddenly my potatoe laptop shut down and when i restarted, all saves gone (ಥ‸ಥ)
Borderlands. 34 hours, level 36 hero. Stopped playing 2 years ago cause i was tired of grinding. Installed again few days ago (after 2 years!). Save files still here ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

I was following the instructions on moving Steam to another drive once (before multiple libraries were a thing), and I deleted the original folder without backing up UserData... 😓

I have a shower I want to replace as its very small. I'm afraid of what I might find when I have the floor ripped up since it was slowly dripping for a long time without my knowledge.
Used to own a duplex years ago. One day the attached neighbor was doing major construction. I asked about it. He had leak (on our shared wall) that destroyed his floor and had mold in the wall on his side. Fortunately it was a cement waterproof wall from just above where his leak was all the way to the basement. I had my side inspected and I was good.

For some reason my RAM is stuck at it's stock speed, and I can't OC it to 3200mhz. I downloaded a BIOS update and went to flash my BIOS, because I thought that might fix it.
This is really risky because if anything goes wrong during this process (like a power outage), I'm basically screwed. I was pacing around my room in circles because I was super nervous lol
Fortunately nothing happened, but it still didn't fix my RAM problem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Was at a friends house helping a friend do a Bios update and the power went out. Machine was bricked. Used another machine to find various solutions online for the motherboard and one of them got him back up and running.
