First win on Gameminer... (Question about Half Life serie) (Poll added :D)

if you raelly want HL 1 you can play for free Black Mesa thing on steam :) just serch for their website.

I think you will understand the storyline better if you play Half-Life 1 first.

The story is a continuation, if that affects your decision. But, unless you plan on buying HL1 soon, I would play HL2 as soon as you can, it is a great game.

You can play and enjoy HL2 without playing the first.

just get Black Mesa, it's HL1 but with updated graphics and I believes it's free. Playing the 1st one really makes the experience more enjoyable.

I bought the HL Complete pack during summer and played the series until Ep2 (it's still on the list). Playing the first one is nice, but not necessary.
