any info is appreciated, and sorry if already asked. just searched for "vpn" in FAQ with no luck. abiding to all the rules (i.e. no multiple accounts etc...), it's ok to access our site via VPN?

thanks again!

Doesn't matter if you use VPN, just stick to one account.

I would assume you would be putting your account at risk of suspension if you are behind a shared IP and another SG user happens to be using the same VPN service and is assigned the same IP.

Perhaps just be careful of shared IP VPN providers - but I'd think the chances of 2 users here on same IP at same time would be slim. My provider has 4.4k+ servers with separate IPs and even has the option to get a dedicated IP.

Been using VPNs on this site since joining without problems, and bounce between countries and servers regularly.

I thought the same thing initially - but a poor audit might just flag concurrent users with same IP - any simple analysis of the data should rule out multiple accounts being used, I'd think. I'm sure SG would use more than a common IP to flag an account, however.

Am also sure it's nothing to worry about. I'd doubt SG would want to tell us how they detect multiple accounts, but it'd be a lot more than a common IP!
As to your last point - haha - true enough I guess! Only painful thing about shared IPs would be constant Google, or other site capcthas! Think I had a trial VPN account years ago that did that a lot. Current provider, never seen it happen.
