I have no idea. I'm guessing... Yes? I don't open threads much so couldn't tell you from personal experience.
If not, you can always close this one and open a new one in Group rec.
EDIT: Checked and yes you can. You can do so by clicking the Edit button on your open threads and assigning the proper category.
