First Fable still looks and sounds good and original Xbox version runs fine on a 360.

they'd better fix jack of blade's voice back to pre tlc awesomeness.
he only needs the "new" voice at the end because of what he is, but because of what he is it would make sense for him to sound different from that in the original game's quests(the first part/most of the game).

the redone voice fits the final form better, but I'd think the host's voice should contribute anyway. for the beginning you know he's probably evil but he could be human. the redone voice is kindof a giveaway, his demon voice sounds like a demon. (they didn't re-record anything, its just the original voice ran through some filters) He should have both voices, with the shift from old to new voice happening when appropriate twords the end(dragon).

And the voice isn't as good as I thought it would be from the amount of people complaining about TLC's voice. I can see what they were going for, I think, but it just sounds like he's got a stuffed nose.

yeah, I remembered it as better, but all the voices were like that anyway. your father's accent was terrible. I think most of the hate came from it being a pointless change anyway so people who liked the old or disliked the new for various reasons had it magnified by "why did they go out of their way to do it"

I think the change worked. From what I remember of the lore, Jack was always evil, it was never even ambiguous about it. Why not give him a voice that fits at least a little better?
And your father's voice was actually one of the better voices in Fable, what are you talking about?

or was it guild master?(probably not him either) I don't remember who, just somebody had the world's fakest accent. maybe a shop keeper...it was somebody anyway.
and I meant evil is good, you're always supposed to know hes evil. but aren't we not supposed to know he wasn't human at first? But I guess in a world where you grow horns demon voice could just be the hero thing

I'm pretty certain his humanity was always suspect as well (and even if not, the Hero's have freaking Scythe on their side, I don't think not being human any more is too much of an issue), but that could just be out of game lore I picked up. speaking of fables 2 and 3....was I the only one who felt like theresa was an evil puppet master in those games, probably behind the main plots even? I mean she at least definitely set me up to kill my own brother(didn't), she may have gotten rose killed along with tens of thousands of slaves worked to death, and that chuckle at the end when she says "but the tower, is mine"....maybe they're bringing back fable 1 so we'll all feel appropriately bad when we have to kill her in 4? ;)
or a lesser but more obvious example, find hammer as a monk, teresa says "we need a warrior not a monk" and seems unhappy....suddenly the monastery is attacked her adopted father killed and she's discarded her vow of peace.
(edit- then again i haven't played fable journey yet so that may explain a bit?)

Theresa's always been a mastermind, but I think she's working for Albion's benefit. I haven't played The Journey (no Kinect yet), but from what I understand of the plot, the Crawler was actually the lesser foe and was the advance force and we've got another of the Blades coming back or something.
I know she set up Lord Lucien with the knowledge of how to build the Spire so that could be rebuilt and then sent us to destroy him and get it back and the Spire is what is apparently letting this big evil back into the world (and may be why the Archon used it to destroy half the planet the first time it was built). I'm pretty sure that, while she's playing the chessmaster, she's our chessmaster and isn't doing this solely for power. That said, if it comes down to it, I will end her to save my puppy if need be.

Also, my copy of fable doesn't have 'true' native resolution. Sure it's fullscreen, but everything is stretched. Especially the steam overlay. Besides just an overall update, a "never found until now chapters" version would be nice. xP

yep, in Fable there were some places I always thought like "ther HAS to be another road" or "looks like there has to be some other location behind this blocked path". Some extra quests or characters would fit really nice. Although Fable 1 was indeed good as it was - without any dlcs or addons.
