The exact opposite. People ranting against charts.

a lot of that looked to me like sarcasm, but i understand your point. whats wrong with both types of threads though? that's kinda what i was hoping for personally, a minimalist thread & a chart-filled thread, so everyone is happy. is that not what happened, or did i miss something else?

Who cares? :|

If you don't like a thread then make a new one with your tastes in mind. Other people don't have to conform to what you see as acceptable unless it's an actual rule enforced by staff.

Taking the advantage of the occasion I just wanted to thank all the people who are posting useful information in deal section. Even bigger thank you if you have put some effort to not double post, or placed some additional infos, tables or charts. Even if there might be some mistakes or not full information is provided I'm grateful. Thanks to people such you I have saved much and for the most part thanks to those threads I wouldn't be where I'm now. I'm glad that someone is wasting his/her time to save mine as well as mine effort. Keep up the good work.

We're entering uncharted territories here...

That pun is so bad it's off the charts!!! Okay, okay, I'll let myself out.

The 43% who voted that they don't need charts are probably not into posting comments on bundle threads, because those who do seem to have a different opinion:

It does, but I doubt it's anywhere close to 200 more comments per thread.

Have a bump Silly. I'm always voting for better quality of threads so yes for charts. Period. Yes. If Rachel really did not want us to use charts she would said so -_-
[If someday there was a extra space with RPG/RTS/FPS styled info it would be great :f Yes.]

I don't know, I don't care. I've decided to try to stay away from serious/mature conversations on SG until people start tolerating opinions and stop causing so much bullshit every day. The forum tires me these days, if this goes on I may just leave temporarily or even permanently.

Isn't creating such a thread awareness for a minority problem? While I understand the good intention wouldn't it be best to just ignore it (especially if people purposefully want to stir up trouble so they loose interest)? Because I don't think it is much of a problem.

Other than that: Of course it works better with everyone taking a step back but I think it is natural for every big and growing community to have some small clashes here and there. I wouldn't really mind it too much -_- Steamgifts is fine. To see real problems you have to look for them. Just concentrate on the overwhelmming positive aspects of the site.

And other than that: Have an unrelated comic

Hm, I spend a lot of time in the forums reading (actual too much time but that's another story) and I noticed it only at the sides. Although I admit that I normally don't visit bundle threads and if I do I don't go further than reading which games it contains (or even less just clicking the link to the actual website).

Also I don't say it is a bad thing. The good intention is clearly visible I just say there are a lot of users who were not aware that there exists two sides in this story and with this they will be informed about it. While more information normally is something good it can lead to people not interested/aware before to choose a side now hence increasing the tension and problem. All of this is of course is a "CAN" scenario. It is also possible that all users take each other by the hand and start singing joyous songs after reading the thread. Just wanted to point out that ignoring something to death might sometimes be the more viable strategy.

And I think this will calm down like everything else. The forum is still overwhelming positiv in its nature.
