So yeah.. Just finished the first season And fucking loved it But I'm curious if the second one is... Good. Or if it'll ruin my whole experience with the show.

Never watched Fargo before but I did hear Allison Mack is in it and she was in Smallville so I assume the whole show must be good lol. Take the shot!

Ahh, okay. Thanks, I was indeed curious what the second season would... actually be. Will probably be finished by tomorrow :P

I only didn't like the (little spoiler from season 2) "UFO thing", but it wasn't a big deal.

You should watch it.

I preferred season 2. The seasons are completely different and it doesn't matter what order you watch them in.

Season 2 is better and its one of the best "things" ever made on TV. It has a "no country for old men" feeling but some of the aspects of the second season are not in the first one. For example, there isnt a weird bad guy making funny moments or awesome quotes. That level of... "Coenian character" is not in the season 2.

People wanted, i guess, they said "fuck it, lets make a great series". And they did it. Some people didnt agree with them.

Even Stephen King said that the episode 8 was the best thing he ever watched. In his life. The best.

Aww darn. That's one of the things I loved about season one, just how silly Malvo could be.
Already started it, and I'm definitely loving it!

Yeah, me too. But repeating the style all over again would be a mistake. I'm glad they took another point of view and ended being absolutely perfect. Enjoy!

I loved both seasons, but I prefer season 1.
But you won't regret any moment while watching season two. It'll hold you and make u watch until u see the end. Probably you alread watched but if not, u must watch True Detective (season 1), so badass as Fargo.

i watched fargo ,the story sucks.... but the actors are very good, 6/10. After watching breaking bad nothing seems good beside 3 or 4 tv shows.
BTW the story didn`t happend in real life , all lies .

So It's the show the same as the movie storywise? Or something different maybe?

The series its about criminal stories settled in the same state/area. For example, in the season 1 something happens in the same Fargo and it's mentioned a lot. If you like the movie (like me!) you'll like the series (i guess) because its pretty much the same feeling but the Coen Brothers as producers.

Season 1 has a lot of weirdiness and dark comedy from the Coen and Season 2 it's super Anton Chigurh in some moments. Give it a try.

I think you should, because I've heard a lot of good things about the series in general. A bit offtopic, does Fargo have anything similar to True Detective?

Both have a large scope of odd characters, but 'True Detective' is more conspiracy based; while 'Fargo' is more bad sets of circumstance.
Both are good and challenge the viewer, but I 'enjoyed' Fargo more. The were some points of 'True Detective' where I felt it was being 'dark' just for the sake of being 'dark' (no particular plot reason)... but I still liked it.

its very different to season one but also still very good. I personally have trouble getting over Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton not being in season 2, because I loved them so much in the show!

They filmed both season 1 & 2 in my city (Calgary), and I drive past the Pearl Hotel (second season) everyday on my way to work.
Yes, watch season 2. It has a totally different 'vibe/feel' to it, kinda like 'True Detective' season 1 vs season 2. Only I liked Fargo much more.
