I've literally been playing this game for more than a decade, first on the ps2. I just didn't want to have to play on lower difficulties to unlock stuff because that's just too easy for me so it's actually kinda boring. DMC HD is good, but yes what people say about 2 is true. DMC 2 is strangely bad. The original DMC is still my favorite. I'll see how 5 is when it's done downloading, never played it.

DMC 2 has a bad development history. Look it up if you want. It's one of those stories of game development that makes you understand why the game was bad in the end (spoiler: it could have been much worse). DMC 5 is really good but not the perfection the vocal DMC fan base makes it to be. At some point, the DMC fan base morphed into a dumb meme fan base instead. It's actually pretty sad.
