The amount of messages that appear in the giveaway. The quality of the information in them and last but not least, the supression of notifications you receive from every "Thanks!" in the giveaway.

Or we could just ask the Dev of the site to make it so that we can make receiving comments from our giveaways in our message box optional.
This way its win win. People who don't want to get spammed won't and people who still do want to see them do.
Maybe even have comments in the giveaway as optional, though maybe only after you've hit level 3 or 4.
Oh and as others have pointed out, pushing a thank you button is no different then someone putting thank you in the comment box and hitting submit.

Because there is no reason for the time to be put into adding it when there are other more important things that could be added like being able to turn off comments to giveaways and/or being able to set it so that the comments don't fill up your message box.
Because even if there was just a thank you button, there will still be people posting thank you in the comments and people doing both, pressing the button and posting a thank you comment.

Something like that probably wouldn't be anymore difficult to implement than an option to disable comments from giveaways anyway, and could also serve to reduce cost of bandwidth a little with less people needing to post the regular thank you messages to every giveaway. They'll still have the option to leave a unique thank you message, and by that virtue it will be worth being notified about and reading for the giveaway creator.

Just my two cents:
Personally I appreciate every comment. And I was kind of sad when, for my last giveaway, I realized that I should make clear that I don't mind comments or the lack of it.
I mean, that's the type of thing that determinate what kind of community SG is, and I guess I would prefer if we were all more relax about this whole thing.

I agree that every comment is welcomed, especially the original ones where the users come with something original that really makes a difference. I think all this comment spam using bots originated from the thought that the RNG favors you if you have a certain amount of comments in the giveaways.

I always thank the gifter in the comments. I know some people may blacklist me for it, but well, if they think they have to do that, I'll let them. The site itself even suggests that you say thanks. I try to make different comments, so people don't think I'm a bot, lol. If the gifter asks for some other type of comment, I'll try to do that.
I don't know, but I just think that it would be kinda sad if no one would thank the gifter for his generousity. I'm appreciate the chance, no matter if I win or not. =/

Use This method :
*. Add a comment in your giveaways description about your " Thanks issue " . It will help you a lot however some users even do not attention to THIS model warnings but it`s really useful !.
Personally, i write nothing in giveaways pages when the GA creator say something like : " No thanks needed " or " Thanks will be blacklisted " or this model warns !

I'm guessing that giving to the people active on the forums helps more. I really love this community and I love how creative, crazy and passionate everyone is. Maybe it's just a fix of mine, but I think forum activity should be rewarded since it builds a strong community.

I got tired by all these bots e going about spamming S with "Thanks" in the comments. What if a "Thanks!" button is implemented instead in order to show the appreciation 5 towards the person giving away a game? I mean, if a C person participating in the giveaway really wants to put something relevant in J the comments it will be lost in the sea of "thanks".
