I like to give games away that I know I won't play. For example, I buy a bundle because I want certain games but I'm not interested in the other ones, so I might as well give them away. I always hope that someone who's genuinely interested in the game wins, but I doubt that that's actually the case. So that's one reason. I also like to make people happy, like, it's a good feeling to know that someone is grateful for what they received. Sure, it'd be more awesome if I was able go give AAA titles away but I simply don't have the money for that currently. But yeah, that are basically my reasons.

TL;DR: getting rid of bundle leftovers and making people happy

I found this site by searching for a place to trade my extra copy of Half Life 2- my first giveaway.
It's way more fun than trading and I enjoy the community. I hear about all the newest bundles, sales and free keys here. (Thanks especially to the much appreciated efforts of site member - rachellove :)
It's taking me forever to reach level 5. I'm almost at 4.5 Yeah!
I mostly give away bundled games, because of... funds. But this is a great place to share my extra games and keys, otherwise they end up in my kid's Steam games folder / category, which he has sorely designated - "Games from Mom."
I hope to someday, have the opportunity to giveaway Half Life 3.

I started creating gas as a way to give back to the commity who gave me some free games, and I just didn't stop for some reason. I give away either cheap indie trash that looks cool and stuff with 90% coupons., or affordable games that I like and want to share with people. My favorite way to do ga's is puzzle, as much as I hate them. I'm not smart enough to actually make puzzles though, so I just hid them in my stupid blog-like posts. I used to care more about levels than I did, but 5 is the highest level limit most people use, so leveling up isn't as much as a priority anymore. I'd still be happy at leveling up though, it's a valid reason (along with cakedays) to blog and create ga's

I just dinged 4 a day or so ago too :D I mostly give away the games Im not really interested in. Lately it seems like every bundle that comes out has one or two games that I really want, with three or four there Im not interested in. Once in awhile Ill buy an extra bundle just to give, but usually I give half of the keys on here, and half are given away on my Twitch stream.

Besides, it makes me happy that (hopefully) it makes someone happy to get a visit from the space cat when they win xD

What compels you to give away games? The community. Seeing people that deserve them.
Why do you do it? What aspect of it do you find fun/unfun? Unfun: all the drama around. Fun: original comments :3
What are your favourite ways of doing GAs? Puzzles, of course^^ *wink wink*
Do you pay attention to cv and levels or not? Not as much as before, I can let me lose some CV with a puzzle giveaway with less than 5 entries, but with people that worked hard for those improved chances.
Are you happy when you reach next level, do you even care about that? I don't use to enter public giveaways, but it is still nice for other reasons^^

I usually give away bundle games I know I won't play and hopefully the winner has fun win it. And...yeah...it's that simple for me right now.
Probably one day I'll do a really hard and cruel math puzzle of despair just to see some tears ^^.
