Question 4 pack

Trade ban or maybe he hasn't purchased anything from the Steam store in the last year. Does it say how long until they become tradable?

That happens once in a while. I bought a 4 pack of Chivalry a few weeks back and they unpacked fine. A couple days later it said they were untradable. The next day they were tradable again. A week later some of my other gifts became untradable, and then were tradable again the next day. It seems glitchy.

are they really untradable? did you try it? i often have gifts, which have the text "untradable", but i can trade them just fine. this is just a bug. maybe its the same for you.

As the guy above said, steam is bugged to hell. They might just have the untradable tag but can actually be traded. Just try it, if he traded with you the 4 pack, he is not trade banned anyway.
