Ah... the good ol' New Year's resolution.. I say (sigh)... meet the new boss... same as the old boss...

To survive. Literally. Not to die in a nuclear explosion, not to go insane and/or kill myself, not to find myself in prison.

You are kind as ever, and believe me, I've been considering it since early spring. But leaving mom is just not an option, and she will never leave her grandchildren.

Stop my compulsive buy of books: Over 150 on physical edition at last year, with a backlog from 2019-2021 near to 60... I'm near to had space issues

Buy, collect, them are vinculated problems here. I usually give books that I don't like to friends and public libraries; but I can't gift the unread stuff.
That huge backlog is becoming a problem in terms of space now... and surely after be read (if I conserve them all, of course). So, I should be more selective, "slow the rythm", to have a greater house before the books eate me ๐๐๐๐

Complete all the games I obtained for Christmas as a gifts, work on The Dishonored Series, complete Hollow Knight by February, and Play The Outer Worlds by March.
A side goal is to complete/review every game in my library from A to C.

Try to avoid girls specially the toxic flirty ones and to live a peaceful single life.

I want to be all caught up in my university studies (which should be achieveable, I'm not that far behind), keep up with rock climbing, and get better at cooking and planning my meals and shopping.
I also want to get a tattoo. I've been too much of a chicken to get one but I'm starting to think it's time to just do it.

Wish you all to reach your goals or to stay safe!
For me, like the last 10 years resolutions, and the last two years for my chubby cat, losing weight ๐คญ
But my main goal this year is to get my landscaper diploma, meaning less gaming and lot of work

To get a job, to lose the extra 3 kilos I gained this year, to finish reading the books I started this year and to start the ones I haven't even opened, to make a more significant dent on my games' backlog, to start drawing again, to finally start making a game of my own, and finally, to decide once and for all if I'm gonna go back to college to continue what I started or just drop off for good.
Truth be told I usually don't like making resolutions because I rarely if ever even try to follow through with them, but none of these things sound particularly impossible to achieve and I actually have to do some whether I want to or not, so I might as well join the fun this time.

Reaching level 9 would be cool.
I just hit level 8 recently, and need to make a big train to celebrate ๐.
I plan to read more.
I have a goal to say, "no" more often. I tend to take on too much, and other areas get put aside (like reading).

Hopefully finally reaching level 10, and to move, was supposed to be first quarter of 2023, but now it's already april/may. :x
Depending also maybe how the winter goes, but there is also a shortage of people/material.
But then to also just try to meet new friends, like joining a board game club we got here.
