I bought the game shortly before it was first bundled. I didn't mind as I'd already got plenty of playtime and lots of enjoyment out of it.
For anyone who happens to be reading this and is thinking about getting the game - it's probably not going to win over anyone who dislikes such games, but it's a really slick addition to the genre for anyone who does have an interest with lots of interesting and unique features.

I would argue that for people new to the strategy/4x genre this game is a good entry point. Not too much depth and not overly-simplistic.
The good thing about this game for newcomers is that it doesn't fiddle much on diplomatics/economics, it is a more military oriented game.

I'd agree with that. I found it very streamlined compared to similar titles - you could play a game that was enjoyable and challenging in a lot less time than comparable titles. The UI was very smooth and overall the game avoided micro-management. There was a lot more variety in the factions and their goals than other strategy games which gave it more replayability, although if I thought there was a downside it was that random events could be a bit too powerful and sometimes ruin a game.

I noticed there are 2 different app ID for Endless Space Collection, one is bundled, the other not.
Bundled : http://store.steampowered.com/app/208140/
Not bundled : http://store.steampowered.com/sub/149433/
Most of the GA's should be created using the app ID 149433, so these are not in the SG bundled list yet.

Since the offer is in the Steam store and the app ID can be seen there (if you configured the client to display the link), that would be abuse.

I think steam added the latest app ID to include the DLC less than 13 hours ago, so it's a new app ID altogether, hence the reason it's not in the bundled list yet. So everyone is currently getting full unbundled CV for this one.
