its a very great game. Imo one of the best. If you dont rush through the main quest and do your side missions,DLC missions and exploration you easily get 60-100 hours of gameplay.

One of my favorite games, I think that New Vegas can't even compare, but to be honest Fallout 3 really hasn't aged well in my opinion. It's not nearly as fun as it was in 2009(again, in my opinion). So i would say wait until it goes at least 50% off

Fo3 was a great game.

I spent hundreds of hours playing it, if that answers your question. I'm also starting my 3rd play through soon. If you can, you should wait until it goes on sale, it was $12 a few months back, it'll probably go on sale during the steam summer sale.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you're into RPGs than better look somewhere else, it's a typical Bethesda game - it has a huge world that is interesting to explore and that's it. It lacks interesting characters, the writing and plot are subpar and it's quite buggy and unstable.

Then again, it is worth it if you're buying it at a discounted price, it's packed with content even though quantity doesn't always equal quality as is quite evident with Fallout 3.
