My giveaway limit decreased after I cancelled one of my giveaways.

My giveaway limit decreased after I cancelled one of my giveaways (I was wrong about the quantity, I typed in 6 but I had only 3 -so I had to cancel it immediately). Now I am getting the message "The maximum number of giveaways based on your current feedback score has been reached. Once your current giveaways come to a close, and gifts are received, you'll be able to post additional gifts."

How can I earn back the slots that I have put in that cancelled giveaway in vain. Are they ever going to come back or not? If not, I wasted 6 of my slots for nothing -_-
