Is it true, that you will lost at least 1 level because you delete your giveaway

Hi to all!
Some time ago I raise level 4 and then create another giveaway for Just Cause bundle. And suddenly I realised, that I will not receive gift before giveaway actually ends.
So I decide to delete this one and then create new one, when gift will be in my inventory, given the fact that the giveaway has not yet started.
After that I saw, that my level is again 3 and I lost some points.
Is it because I delete giveaway?

No, something else you gave away was either bundled or had a price reduction on steam.

No problem ;) By the way you can close threads by clicking on the green Open button on the upper right side and select Close Discussion.
