Maybe temporarily, but game prices only head in one direction over time.

My thoughts are that unless you're eager to play it pre-release, or on release date, hold off a few months and wait for a sale/daily deal/price reduction.

It will be 75% off before you know it.

It will go on more sales when it is released, so it will get cheaper.

Don't worry, alpha stage will last over 1 year. It will definitely go on sale before then.

lol, Dayz along with all other "bohemia interactive" games which are the creators of Dayz was on sale at humblebundle a month ago for one buck..... now why would they make the price higher when the game is based on people playing it? i mean you cant play it singleplayer wich means that you shouldnt get shocked if the game gets cheaper or even free but expect that youll need to pay inside of the game if you want cooler gear and other cosmetic items

I'm not buying it at full price.

don't know when they will up the price, but seems like after that it will be a long time before you will see it at 30$ again

As long there are people buying at full price, they won't make a sale of it so soon.
