While I cook my dinner soon, I want to eat it with while watching a movie.

Does anyone know a good horror movie again? I'm looking at something to do with zombies, hillbillies, aliens, or some sort of monsters.

Thanks.

Does it continue from the first movie, or is it just a separate movie?

It was remade by Hollywood and called Quarantine. The Hollywood version sucks but REC and REC 2 are actually amazing zombie films.

Quarantine? Don't tell me, is that the movie and it has a guy recording everything?

Days was written and directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle whom I believe has never made a bad film. It is poignant and meaningful; beautiful and shows the disgusting side of human nature. The only problem with the first movie is the American ending. If they had left it alone with the English ending the film would have been much stronger.

Weeks was directed by some nobody and went for a more action tone. It's more fun to watch but serves no purpose other than to entertain.

Try: Undead - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0339840/?ref_=nv_sr_1

  • Has Zombies & aliens

OR: Dog Soldiers - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0280609/?ref_=nv_sr_1

  • Werewolves

OR: Deep Rising - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118956/?ref_=nv_sr_5

  • Sea Monster (big nasty ugly bugger)

Also.. If you're into alien worms/slugs you can try:

Slither - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0439815/?ref_=nv_sr_1

&

Night of the Creeps - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091630/?ref_=nv_sr_1

I can agree with Dog Soldiers. A friend of mine produced it and it's actually good for a no budget film.

I rarely watch horror movies but I've been on a sci-fi streak lately. I saw Leviathon a couple days ago and I'm currently watching Event Horizon. They both involve unknown/alien lifeforms. They aren't as grisly or terrifying as some horror movies, but IMDb tagged them as such. (Both on Netflix)

Event Horizon is my favorite horror film. I've seen it a dozen times and it always gives me chills. It inspired Dead Space. Check it out.

If you want rednecks and zombies, you cannot go wrong with Redneck Carnage. Indie film, shot in the backwoods of Missouri. Mayhem and fun for the whole family! http://countzeecom.ipage.com/rnc.html

If you are not to focussed on movies I'd recommend Dead Set. It combines two of the biggest horror franchises in recent years. Zombies and Big Brother.
