You have 5 minutes to complete the puzzle but only 3 if you want to get the gold medal but I understand your frustration to not have a 1500 pieces puzzle with 5 hours of work to complete. I know there are solutions (zoom in out for example) to do that kind of puzzle in a game but didn’t experimented it yet. As I said there are a lot of l’attitude for improvements.
On the other hand people willing to spend 5hours on a 1500 pieces PC jigsaw are probably very few so I don’t know if it would be worth to create, what do you think ?

When I play puzzle games, I usually want to relax from the more intense games. Adding a timer is a good way to add pressure and make me not want to play the game. You are also right about people not willing to complete 1500 pieces jigsaws, because it seems like a huge commitment. I understand you want to add a challenge to your game, but what is wrong with making it a relaxing experience? Or if it's about adding an unique spin, I'm sure there are other creative solutions than timers.

I totally agree with you, the next update (should be released today, I'm Q/A everything right now) will change the TIMER system to a CHRONO system. It doesn't count down but count up. If you complete the puzzle fast, good for you, you earn medals, if you don't it's OK you can complete the puzzle at your speed, no time limit.
Regarding the 1500/600/300 pieces, I'm thinking about it for the next game. I need to make a huge step up to have this but I'm interested to propose few "big puzzles" for people looking for big challenge. I think I need also to create few additional features to make it enjoyable (not very fan of zoom in/zoom out system you can see on other games).

That timer change sounds great (at least for me).
I'm not a big fan of the many pieces jigsaws, I rather do something I can manage without commiting to it for hours on end. In my opinion puzzles are meant to be casual, so for an idea for an additional feature I can suggest the meta game that Faerie Solitaire has with it's earning gold to upgrade the Faerie Land and raising pets. What I didn't like about that game was the ever increasing requirements of doing full hands and doing them fast when the cards you are given to play with are RNG.
But I understand that this is only my opinion and my preferences with what I expect of a game like this. So if you have a different vision for your game, you should bring that to life instead.

Yeah true, I want to make the game a little bit different to the other jigsaw games without going to far and upset people who likes traditional. Future will tell.

Hello everyone,
I'm the indie game dev Cold Coffee Studio, I create small indie games with the help of freelance artists and an awesome community I gathered on Discord !
I'm planning to release a serie of Jigsaw puzzle games and I'm looking for people into this special type of game to have their feedback.
I already have one finished that I'm improving with the community and 3 more planned for next year:
My objective is to make each game with the improvements of the previous ones and always add something special in it.
For example : Christmas game has Twitch Integration in it allowing Streamers to connect the game to them channel allowing the viewers to bet on the streamer failure or performance on the puzzle, change the music in the game or make the snow fall to make the task harder but way more winter-ish.
