After I quit a game, Steam "recommended" this game with its usual ads. I got interested and went to the store to check the price....

It is a free trial or something? I don't remember buying it :-/

Looks the normal "you don't own this game" way to me. So probably not free trial. Are you SURE you didn't buy it or activate a key of it and forget?

I believe it came out today, was added to everyones library if they own the game already. Not entirely sure what it is myself yet though.

Ego Draconis is the base game while Flames of Vengeance is the expansion.

They were combined to make DKS, but still overpriced as the Developer's Cut is supposed to be DKS + more.

You don't remember playing 42 hours on that game?

Developer's Cut is essentially a free expansion to DKS. (DKS and bonus conent)

Larian (the developer) is working on a patch to update DKS to Developer's Cut.
