Hi!

I've been working on a pretty casual driving game called Crazy Roads. The goal is simple - you drive, score points, unlock new cars and customization options and by doing just that - compete with the others!

If you're more a gardener than a driver, you can do that too! There is a garden where you can plant crops, take care of animals and sleep through dark rainy nights because there is dynamic weather as well! The idea of garden is that you collect resources, craft food and then use that food to boost your performances in your drives to try to get better score for the leaderboards.

Tired of those two modes? Why not try racing? There are currently two tracks in the game, where you can race your friends or just blast some music, and turn off your brain as there are over 400 songs spread over 14 different genres ranging from jazz to metal!

Maybe you just want to drive and you don't care about any of the other modes? There is a World Mode for you! The goal is to travel real life distance between the countries you select - beware, it's going to take you a very long time to visit the entire world!

Do you remember those old phone games like Temple Run or Subway Surfer? Well... There is an arcade mode as well, where the goal is to listen to a techno track and feel the world changing to the beats... also try to get as far as you can to get on the leaderboards!

Does any of this sound interesting to you?
If yes, why not check it out on the link down below:

I was flicking through the images for this and was like, huh why is there a farming sim all of a sudden?? Then I read the rest of your post and it seems to be a cool and unique idea haha. The art style makes it look quite cozy too. Did you make it all yourself?

Hi!
I didn't make the assets, I bought them as I am a one-man dev and I suck very much at modeling (well, mostly texturing), but the thing I did is added very unique shaders to everything so it blends the graphics together.

Also, some assets were bought, not all - I didn't want to cause confusion. :)

thank you for the comment! :)

ah yeah makes sense, still very impressive though, coding is so challenging!

btw I notice you responding to everyone saying 'thank you' on the GAs for the game, just a warning that a good number of those people might be bots, since it's a public GA with no level restrictions

That's okay!

Thank you for the heads up! :) I like responding to people and hopefully not all of them are bots! :)

You think it's smart to set a level restriction for the next GAs? I wanted it to be available for everyone but if there is a lot of botting then it may be smart. I'm pretty new here haha!

Itโ€™s really up to you, I havenโ€™t been here for that long either, but the following is sort of what I picked up on:

Level 1 only requires a contribution of 0.01dollars/euros so most people will be fine. Some people often like to go for level 3+ or even 5+ but 5 will have significantly less people, so probably not great if you want to give the chance to as many people :)

You can also create private GAs, you can see people doing that through the discussions section usually. They will sometimes add some simple bot protection or come up with a fun puzzle. Iโ€™d say this approach is probably more efficient, gets people to engage more too!
