whenever i make a gveaway, there's this warning

Keys should be separated by new lines. Please enter Steam redeemable keys, or gift URLs from Steam or Humble Bundle.

my question is, why only humble bundle gift link?
isnt indiegala also has it's own gift link (maybe also other bundle site, i dont know)
if possible i want those other link are also available to insert, not just humble bundle one

They used to be accepted, don't really remember why that changed.
But anyway, you can just obtain the key yourself and use that instead... or deliver the gift link by email.

My personal preferences mean that I don't really deal with gift links at all now. They were needed for Humble when Humble was using OAuth as that was the only way to gift someone the game. Now even old purchases bought at the the time of OAuth give keys instead ultimately. The gifter could just convert them to a key before sending if they already created the gift link.

A positive of gift links is that the gifter can see if they've been claimed if anyone tried some funny business. You can test before sending that the link is still live on Humble, or that no email address has claimed it on Indie Gala. If the winner then tells you it was already used when you send it you know they're being untruthful. I can see why someone would want use gift links for this, but I'm happy to send keys.

Sorry, rambling here. I suppose I'd say that if Humble links are allowed then why not Indie Gala too? Might as well put it on.

yeah, that's what i mean
since gifting using link is more easier to see if it's redeemed or not

You're sure they can convert them to keys? Last I tried they were autoredeem links... It would be useful

Yes. Send it to your own email, follow the link you receive, click the button and it will reveal a key.

I just tried it with another old Humble gift link to make sure.

IT would be a nice future i guess .... but as far as i remember reading somewhere .... there was a flaw into them ... thats why they are not actually accepted .

I really dislike those gift links, they tend to take hours to load/work for me.
I'd rather have people just insert the keys.

true, but it's easier for gifter to see if it's redeemed or not
