Considering it was mostly Gearbox's fuck-up i see no problem with this. And since you can't dumb down an FPS i doubt CA can fuck it up worse than they did with Rome 2, after 6 months of AI fixes i'm sure it will be a great game.

I'd say this is a good thing, I'd rather keep a franchise get continued after a horrible outlet rather than die because of it; and the latter seems to be the case for most franchises like this. Good on you, Sega. The premise also sounds pretty goddamn good, now they just need to not fuck it up.

No offense, but isnt it old news that CA is making an Alien game?
I've been somewhat hyped about it for a while. A strategy (maybe squad RTS) type of game for Alien could be cool.

The only way I think an Aliens game could possibly be good would be a X-Com-type game.

If they took the best parts from AVP and CM, then maybe they would finally have a game worth buying.
