Why do you think this might be a license thing? I can't find a single info related to this or that the game might go away for any reason.

Edit: I sent an email to Cartoon Network asking if there's any risk their games might be removed from digital storefronts. I'll update if I get a response.

Yes, but with a mindset like that, you'd buy every single licensed game out there just to be safe. That's not how it works.

Based on this (and lots of people in my activity feed suddenly buying it to be sure): https://steamcommunity.com/app/680700/discussions/0/3439081454528329139/

So it's not a 100%, but if you wouldn't want to risk it. But yeah eventually it happens with a lot of cartoon games.

Far from concrete info but I won't argue. This discovery and hbo max debacle has been atrocious, so delisting games wouldn't surprise me. Anyway, I've never heard of the show and the game seems to be little more than an average beat'em up, but I just love the art style and animation so much I want to inject it into my veins. Bought it.

Not sure what discovery and hbo max did for debacle? But also hearing netflix and disney removing stuff, seems it's becoming bothersome, it's a real shame there aren't services where you can actually "own" and keep what you buy for tv shows, steam and gog tried, but that failed.

I would have grabbed this too if i wasn't already down my last cent for the month, but maybe i'll win 5 euro in the lottery tommorow. :P

A lot of shows were removed without notice from HBO Max following a merger with Discover+ iirc. It was with barely any notice or warning (not even to the shows' creators) and included several shows that: a. had dedicated fanbases (like the aforementioned OK KO!); and b. were only available to view via HBO Max. Personally, Infinity Train is one that stung since I was a fan of it from the start. It's amazing, pirate it asap (just...Books 2 and 3, man), and the later seasons were all HBO Max exclusives. You can't even see the original pilot on their Youtube channel anymore, they so thoroughly scrubbed every mention of the show from their servers. It's so frustratingly extreme and opaque and gives off the distinct impression that some of these shows are just gone forever now, just because.

edit: you can still find some of the books/seasons separately online but point still stands.

Hmm yeah these practices surely does lead people back to pirating
Not sure if cartoons are really my thing though. :)

Thanks for the explanation.

Understandable but I still suggest Infinity Train. It's unexpectedly but pleasantly dark, gritty, and philosophical and I've seen it described as an animated version of the Twilight Zone or Outer Limits. Not kid's version, animated version. The fact that it's animated lets them get away with some truly boundary-pushing things. It gets real wild at times.

Thanks, maybe i'll give it a try, and i do believe also in preserving, however i am already 100tb short, i was to get 2000 euro worth of harddrives, but then news came i might get an apartment (early 2023) so i might be needing the money for furniture (and even then some as with my germphobia thing i want everything new where possible atleast).

I do know of 1 torrent site, but not sure if the complete series are fully seeded, i don't know about newsgroups, as i currently don't have access to it. But you can't really discuss the piracy thing here, so feel free to hit me up if you want on steam. :)
