I find solving this sort of puzzle very satisfying. It's tricky, but still readily comprehensible after some practice. And it requires some creativity--there are countless ways to solve the puzzles, not just one. This also means that even after you've solved one you can continue tweaking it to get more and more elegant solutions.
(It's a bit like coding--it calls on some of the same skills. And I like coding too, but don't get the chance to do it much.)

I think you may enjoy watching this video. (And his other videos too)
Spacechem is one of my favorite games too. Gave me headaches all the time, but so satisfying when your design finally works. Looking forward to playing Infinifactory too sooner or later. Which looks like it would be Spacechem 3D.

Very cool. Infinifactory was already on my wishlist, but I didn't realize how similar it was to SpaceChem. That's exciting!

Thank YOU for linking that game. I'm so done with minecraft-like games (and the hundred million thousand copies of it on Steam) that I had totally ignored this game in the past.
I'm buying it whenever I finish playing through what I bought last sale.

List of games that cannot be created as giveaway: http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/pJRbR/can-we-have-a-list-of-games-that-cannot-be-created-as-giveaway-unofficial-list-inside

To explain, games that have been free or exploited are often removed from the giveaway list to prevent floods of giveaways for that game, especially in the case of exploits since those can sometimes get users banned. There's also a list of bundled games, which give reduced contributor value to prevent abuse.

Hey all. I'm giving away a copy of SpaceChem. It's one of my favorite puzzle game--abstract, elegant, and difficult--but sadly I can't make it a normal GA (it's on the list of games that can't be posted) so I have to make other arrangements. Just post here (just one post each, thank you) and I'll randomly pick somebody who replied and send them the key via steam. I'll end this at 9:00 PM Eastern tonight.
Good luck.
