I see games like Battlefield 3 and Minecraft which are not available to steam and still theres the option to give it away

There are only two exceptions: Battlefield 3 and Minecraft, due solely to their popularity.

Maybe some day, The WarZ will be up. At the moment, no.

Oh well i'm personaly waiting for DayZ. WarZ is more of a shooter with an open world, than zombie survival. I watched some WarZ footage and nobody seemed to evade the zombies or be actually scared for the life of their character.

Anyway on topic: Unless the devs of WarZ go to Steam Greenlight it's probably not going to appear on Steam Gifts.

Their previous game, War Inc is on Steam so I'd say there's a pretty big chance War Z will be on Steam.

From what I saw in gameplay footage, (which isn't actually allowed to be posted, yet) the zombie movements are bugged, they do the walking animation, but don't move, so people can just freely explore the world.

Well i might be wrong then, but i will still wait for the Reviews to see if i will be interested at all. And why is it that all the screenshots i find of WarZ the players have AR15's, Snipers or whatever XD. I preffer guns to be hard to find and i hope they don't give them at every corner.

Same, DayZ actually challanges you to survive by finding food/guns and other equipment... In WarZ you just walk into a random house to find an automatic rifle lying on the desk. I probably won't be spending 30$ on it, if I don't decide before 30th October.

Yeah. I will deffinetly buy the Alpha of DayZ ( they said that DayZ will go the Minecraft way of marketing). I just hope they make a better inventory system/UI than Arma2's XD i hated that. Personaly i think that DayZ will be way bigger than WarZ. WarZ is realeasing now probably becouse they don't want to compete with DayZ and release in the same month as them. I can even see WarZ going Free2Play after a year~ .

The thing about WarZ is that it really doesn't "get" it, and its gonna be a cashshop game too, real money for guns etc :P Honestly wait for DayZ, forget the crap that will be WarZ

Have they said it will be officially on Steam? I'm not really sure or atleast i think it won't be on Steam at the Start, seeing as they will be going the Minecraft marketing way and we will be able to buy the game at Alpha for like 50% off or something like that. I don't think DayZ will be on Steam while it's on Alpha and Beta, but i would love for it to go on Steam when it oficially releases.
