What happened to him? I've never been into wrestling, so Hulk Hogan is the only wrestler that I know the name of (due to his fame outside the ring), but apart from him staring in some reality show, I've not heard anything about him for many many years.

Well, you see, this is some very strange thing. As I found on some websites earlier the owners/rulers/CEOs decided to erase him from WWE history (like all history, I think even Hall of Fame) and even from this wrestling games from 2k because 8 years ago in private talk he used a word 'nigger' which was revealed 3 years ago by some gossip (?) webstie. I think it was part of some sex tape or something like that.
I have to say that I'm not the biggest fan of WWE. I like to watch it sometimes, especially matches from history with guys like Andre The Giant but I don't know what is happening on the 'backstage'. My dude who claims to be super fan said that Hogan had some argue with WWE owners and they bring this thing up now to punish him for that.
The whole thing is ongoin right now and different pages show this story in different ways but I think my little summary kinda sums up what is happening.
