Did you know Bamco owns these?

[Tier 1] There's a mild bit of Chaos in my wallet, but it's not too bad.
[Tier 2] I was less than three dollars short of the next tier. Life's hard...
[Tier 3] There are limits to how much I'll pay for anime girls, and this is where I draw the line.
[Tier 4] There are no limits to how much I'll pay for anime girls. Even if this title is particularly poor value and quality, I won't let anyone stop me from wasting my money.
[Have] ( Ν‘Β° ΝœΚ– Ν‘Β°)
[Missing content] These games have so many billion DLCs – if they want me to pay this much for half-naked anime girls I should at least get all the swimsuit costumes there are, no?
[Offended] I was expecting this from IndieGala, not from Humble.
[Skip] I'm not a fan to begin with, I don't need fan service.

Yes.

I wish I hadn't already bought Onee Chanbara / Onechanbara 2 / SchoolgirlZombiehunter back in 2022 on Humble... haven't even played them yet. Oh well I guess they'd make based gifts... $40 still a decent deal for the other five

Silly games with a silly amount of DLC and a silly price.
Slice, Dice and into the bin.
This bundle's title is a shame for the actual Slice & Dice gem game on steam.

Tier 4 is extra $12 for one game and it's the worst rated one, that's just crazy pricing policy.

Let me bestow upon you the curse of knowledge, then:

The Omega Labyrinth games, at least, gained quite a bit of infamy some years ago for being essentially softcore porn despite lacking any explicit nudity. The planned localization of Omega Labyrinth Z, the prior game in the franchise, was scrapped despite being completed, as Australia and the UK both refused classification/age ratings for it and Sony America and Europe both refused to allow it to be published, despite it being a PS4/Vita-exclusive game in Japan.

Omega Labyrinth Life technically never got a Playstation release - even in Japan it was stripped of the 'Omega' portion of its title, the titjob and 'nectar harvesting' minigames were cut, and any CGs with implied nudity got extra layers of obscurants. Despite all this, the game launched unmolested on Switch and Steam, even overseas.

Were Sony and the ratings boards right to try to prevent these games from entering the market? That's tough to say - I'm very much a live-and-let-live guy, and generally I think the solution to these kind of problems is to trust that adult consumers who don't want it can stay away, and that having proper parental controls in place (as well as attentive parents) should keep minors away. But it's also pretty hard to deny that despite the standard "they're all 18, trust me bro" disclaimers, these games all have explicitly high-school settings, casts that look to be uniformly 14-15 years old, and zero subtlety about what's actually going on. It's exactly these kind of games that Valve blocks without a second thought these days, and honestly it's pretty ballsy that Bandai Namco still allows a subsidiary to publish this kind of title on major platforms.

Honestly not much else is particularly notable in this bundle; the OneeChanbara games have been around in some form or another since the late PS2 era. but despite being popular enough to net a couple low-budget live-action movies in Japan, they never gained much traction internationally, and the studio behind them is probably better known for their much-hornier other scantily-clad-hack-and-slash franchise, Senran Kagura. The Bullet Girls franchise is even more niche, with previous entries being Japan-only, Vita-exclusive titles. The rest of the bundle appears to be one-off titles, although ED-0 is significantly less horny than the rest of the pack.

I'm glad to hear these have gone unmolested, if Steam censored them that would be a dealbreaker, already traumatized by what they did to my SkullGirls

I will probably get Tier3 for $18 and skip Samurai Maiden. It will workout to about $2.57 per game, which is not too bad for these niche games. I have heard of these games, but never played them because they were never heavily discounted until now. At this price, i would give them a try. I'm afraid if i don't buy the Tier3, i might regret it later at this price.

It's worth watching the game video or review, and purchasing it if it suits your taste. It is a game with some price defense.

I kind of want to buy this but I'm having a hard time seeing value with the pricing and lack of included dlc's.

Is Samurai Maiden really 59.99 CV? If I give this game away, would this boost my level a lot?

Everything else from this bundle was switched to partial CV. Considering that the bundle was processed, I guess it's safe to assume that Samurai Maiden will remain full CV because of how expensive T4 is. But, you never know...

What is cv? Can I use Steamgifts to level up?

CV = Contributor Value and it has to do with what you give away. Some games which have been given for free for instance, grant no CV, while some games give full CV, so actual retail value of the game, assuming the game has never been bundled or special circumstances or just hasn't been caught by the mods yet. For most other games the cv is 15% I think of what the actual value of the game is.

As for using steamgifts to level up, I don't know if I understand the question right, but yes, technically if you give new unbundled games, you're likely to get a higher cv and level higher until they eventually get bundled and cv gets adjusted. If you want to secure your cv in place, it would be better to give away games that are already reduced in value and give enough to reach your desired level.
