Those keys are used to open Team Fortress 2 Crates and they give you items (sometimes rare items), for more information check this.

You can buy them through Paypal to trusted sellers in SteamTrades (always check steamrep and also their SteamTrades profile) or you can buy them directly in Steam Market (which is more expensive).

One tip: If you're not into TF2 market/values i would recommend not doing that kind of trading and buy the game yourself from a retailer.

Hope it helped.

Because you can get easily "fooled" if you're not into it, it's up to you. That's just my opinion.

Because there can be quite a significant difference in TF2 key prices and actual value of Steam games. Some people may try to sell you a game for a certain amount of TF2 keys when you can actually purchase it cheaper if you take a good look around.

EDIT: I've been in TF2 keys for game trading for quite a while, so if you need a bit of advice, add me. I can help figuring out if a deal is fair or not.

Even if they rip you off it will probably be better than store prices.

If you're going to be buying keys for the game, I recommend finding a trusted tf2 seller that uses paypal to trade. It is much cheaper than going to community market or mann. co store to buy

tf2 keys are items that are supposed to be used for opening crates. They are used as one of the main currencies in tf2 and cost 2.50 USD in the store. You can also get them through paypal for around 1.35 USD.

It's cheaper than buying from the store, and safer than buying through paypal.

I would suggest this also to OP. Already had a bad experience through PayPal.

Yep, once you buy them they get added to your inventory under "Team Fortress 2" as tradable items.

Be careful though. 15 TF2 keys for a Bioshock Infinite is suspiciously low. If the person offering it says it's a Steam redeemable code, then take extreme caution. If they request you to go first before they send you the code, it is likely a scam.

Whenever you want to deal with tradable items for codes, always ask for a trustable middleman to help you out with the trade.

I wouldn't do it if I were you, unless they go first, or if its a steam gift.
