Easy! STEP ONE: Reset The Unit. Usually This Can Be Done By Holding Down The Power Button, Or By Some Other Method As Would Be Listed OnLine On The Apple Main Support Site. STEP TWO: At The Password Screen On The Unit, Type In The T.A.O. (Technician's Authorization Override) Password Which Is Of Course... (Duh...!)... "PEANUT". Presto!

Hi I found on the street an Ipod Touch A1421, it is password protected and I want to get access to the files to see if I can get a name so I can give it back to the original owner, do you guys know how to disable or bypass the security password without restoring it?
I currently live in Mexico where curruption is everywhere so I don't trust authorities in here.
