Grass simulator not greenlit even though it was in top 10?

At least someone at Valve still has some common sense left. At the beginning it was fun, but now this mocking games are just a waste of space and are stealing clicks from a lot of decent games that will never get to the store.

Hopefully someone decided enough is enough. Greenlight is great in theory, very poor in practice.

My guess is that Valve realized that the "game" was just a little too stupid. Nobody watching the grass grow in real life, so why would we want to play a game about it?

Now, if they could just remove Air Control then my faith in Valve would be (partially) restored.

Maybe it was flagged by many users, and Valve decided to not greenlit it.

My respect to Valve has already fallen. Looking at new releases and coming soon it's just 20 pages of cheaply made flash games and other crap.

if only valve would make not offering free keys for votes part of the greenlight agreement the problem would be solved.

This isn't first time, but always has been in next batch. These probably was selected earlier.

I don't have enough faith that Valve wouldn't release this on Steam.

Valve doesn't pick titles solely based on votes. Theoretically, anyway. Some of their picks really do defy any other explanation...

C'mon guys, it's obvious that Valve just hired its developer to turn Grass Simulator into Half-Life 3, like they did with Narbacular Drop guys.
