A congratulations for the switch to Roubles, thus making everything more affordable to our brothers from Eastern Europe.

However, a moment of silence for them, as these games are not available in their region

.

One day, all games will be available to you as well.

The list is huge. They should at least leave the prices in dollars for those games instead of removing them.

all games bought on the steam russian store will probably be for those regions only... any other region will not be able to install the games or play

A particular game's "region" is determined by WHERE it was activated and installed, not where it was bought.

How unfortunate that they miss out on Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, Mr. Robot and Yumsters 2: Around The World.
I honestly wouldn't consider half of them games as 'quality' games. I guess it's unfortunate for the people over there that like Bethesda's titles, but other than that, the losses are pretty minimal.

posted link before, let me explain it. most of listed games were not available before (brink, duke nukem forever, gta, rage, fear 2.. etc) due to regional restrictions. but we have those games at retail stores (can be activated @ steam), its all publisher's selling politics.

but yesterday, some new games added to list. it's all Bethesda games (doom, quake, fallout), braid (it has no publisher at all), stalker series and few games more.

most of those games will return to steam, when publishers set additional contract with valve to place new regional prices. all we got to do is wait a little bit more time.

The price drops are incredible. Luckily i got all the games i wanted out of the missing ones, but still, would hope they're just in the process of switching. (The ones that are missing since the update)

And the funny bit is that Russia doesn't have the cheapest games anyway. If you check /?cc=by you'll see they've got it even cheaper in Belarus despite using dollars. Well, at least some of them (e.g. MTG 2012).
Truly sad, sad day.
