New event + FREE GAME!

Our group and curator page is still very young, but we've grown a lot this year! We reviewed a lot of new releases and had a lot of fun! Not all card games are the same though and we certainly had our favorites. So we decided to have a little contest. If you can guess our 3 favorite games released this year that we reviewed, you can win one of these games (your choice!):

  • Styx: Master of Shadows
  • Sniper: Ghost Warrior Trilogy
  • Overlord: Ultimate Evil Collection
  • Tropico 4: Steam Special Edition
  • Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition
  • Brawlout

We, Card GAME KING, are a curator group, which, surprise! is all about reviewing card based video games and finding the next big hit in the subgenre.

We review everything from roguelike deckbuilders (Slay the Spire like) and board game adaptions of popular card games to games being creative with card mechanics.

The aim of the group is to offer a comprehensive list of the best card games on the market making it easier to find hidden gems you may have otherwise overlooked.

We also giveaway games exclusively for our group members (link to it in the curator page) and also make public giveaways.

Hmm...

Most sentiment: Magic the Gathering
Most played: Gwent (needed to stop as it took me too much time to make a minimum to be always in top 1-500 pro every season :)) ) - had all cards etc
Currently playing and like it (with a short break now): The Lord of the Rings Adventure Card Game - Definitive Edition

Played much more but will not enumerate all (f.e. played some Slay the Spire too, but mainly outside steam).

Overall I like card games and would like to be a part of this event :)

I'm afraid you haven't recommended Monster Train so I refuse to accept this as a valid page 😉 I love deckbuilders so shall follow the curator page thanks. No prizes for guessing my favourite card game atm but I don't want to be entered into the draw. Good luck for everyone else!

Fair point :D Actually, in my 50th hour of Monster Train and going for the 25th covenant :D The review is in the works, and should be up really soon.

I love Gwent and its the only card game I have spent money on, even though you could easily get all cards free, but I want to support the devs.

Slay the Spire is my favorite card game. I'd really like to try Gwent, but I tihnk to get the maximum enjoyment out of it, I need to play the Witcher games first (yes, I haven't played Witcher 1 yet, let alone 2 or 3!).

Thanks, and you too. Just wanted to clarify that the giveaway has ended on the 20th.
