Black Mesa Source- You excited for it?

Well,I I wanna play half life 1 just in hd all over again.Still,I wouldn't mind if the mod's storyline is tweaked a bit.

The story is completely the same - it is just completely remade to source engine. Difference between Half Life: Source is that HL:S just recompiled that old crappy models and maps to source engine - everything looked exactly same just physics was from source engine.. But this is complete remake of HL1 with nothing new - just new graphics and shit..

I actually cannot wait to play this modification with its new graphics, dialogue, and innovations.

Unfortunately the mod only goes as far as the Lamdba Core, so fans who want to play beyond that point will be disappointed.

I'd have preferred an official HD release from Valve. For any story driven game i only like playing what the original creators of the story/game make. No offense to anyone that worked on Black Mesa Source, i'll still be playing it. I also don't download most Half Life 2 story related mods.

Kind of; I'm more hyped for Xen. Actually, Xen is one of the many good reasons to replay the original like twice a year for me. It's just so much awesome, and so alien. I actually hated Half Life 2 because it didn't have Xen, and now I'm kind of cool about it, because Black Mesa is bringing it to the Source engine finally. Sooo, I'll be most excited when I'll get me some Xen, until then it's "Oh, great", and nothing more.
