Giving away a game you've won

You write "share the game with your friend", I read "sale the game to customers".

There a lot of giveaways here that I would like to enter to give the game to some friends I know really wants it, honestly. And I wouldn't mind if someone who wins my giveaway gave the game to a friend that really really really wanted... BUT, as lot of people have alreay said, it would be impossible to stop people to enter several times, or sell the game, or whatever.

No. It's rude and immoral to take a game someone gave you for free and give it to someone else. It's one of the most basic rules that keeps this site running, if your friends think that's wrong then they are selfish assholes. They can make their own accounts to enter the giveaway or buy it themselves if they want it so much.

I will contribute as well. I did it. I gave some games I won to my ex-girlfriend, becase she found them cute or funny. I was in love, so why not. Later I got in problems because of it.
So after my mistake I learnt and can say that I agree. Peaople can resell it etc... Not a good thing, let's keep it as it is, easier for everyone

Thanks to anyone who answered, I am now closing the thread because I'm getting too many notifications, I believe the point went through and I understand most of the community's POV on the topic.

I will clarify and add the fact SG's rules should never be broken nor abused in any way, and the thread was only about the topic theoretically and not literally giving away a game you've won.
