Who loves shoess?

I own a grand total of 4 pairs of shoes, 1 for when it's hot outside, 1 for when it's getting cold & rainy, one for when the snow reaches my knees (though they don't go up to my knees...) and one fancy pair for when I need fancy shoes (which used to be my great grandfathers, a person who I've never met, but apparently had almost the exact same body size & proportions as me). As a lazy guy (who has spent most of his life with relatively low amounts of disposable income) I don't see the need for more ;)

edit actually, that's not quite true. I've also considered getting a pair of lab shoes. After all, spilling acid on any one of my regular pairs would be a bit awkward.

I love boots, but I mostly just spend money on games and junk food for my boyfriend and myself. D: That's a lovely although super expensive pair though, indeed. ^-^'

Running Shoes, Casual, Dress Black, Dress Brown, Casual Dress Black, Casual Dress Brown, thong sandal, closed toe sandal, and then there's the skate shoes/casual low tops...this forum surprises me sometimes haha. Thought for sure there'd be more.

Have you ever tried having size 13 feet in Taiwan? I typically get one of the following stock responses: "Are you sure?", laughter, "Oh... oh, I'm so sorry", or my favorite: "Yes, here's your one option".

I have a pair for winter, two pairs for the rest of the seasons and one for more "fancy" occasions. But, well, I can't blame women for hoarding shoes because reasons :p

I would never ever pay $1,345.00 for a pair of shoes, oh wow.

I go through about 1-2 pairs a year not counting on work shoes (which I need to buy a new pair). I can burn through my shoes relatively quick it seems (how someone get a pair to last years is beyond me :/).

My wife owns more shoes than games, but she's not a gamer. :)

Whoa that's expensive. That's way past reasonable, that's exorbitant. You know that you could find something online much, much much cheaper than that and still have a good look and similar quality right? Those shoes won't last any longer than any other well-made pair out there, and you could get a lot more pairs for your money, if you really are a shoe lover like you say.

I'm sorry, but that's just plain idiocy. I just bought new shoes today actually... these look exactly like my old trainers that I wore for about 12 months. I don't get to wear nice blue adidas shoes as much as I'd like to though D: If you pay over $1000 for shoes, you're a fucktard.

I'm not a huge shoe fan, as my name suggests :p But I do own a few pairs. I have some leather shoes for weddings and such, a "normal" pair for when shoes are required for whatever reason, a pair of thong sandals for driving or light hiking, and a pair of climbing shoes. Usually I walk (or climb) barefoot so my shoes tend to last forever - those leather shoes are 15 years old now and still look fairly new.

I guess the amount of money women spend on shoes is close to the amount of money gamers spend on their PCs. As for me one pair for each season and one pair of Fred Perrys which I wear almost on all occasion.

Wow, those are beautiful, but that price! O.o I love shoes, but I don't wear those that are very cheap (don't like them and, usually, don't find them comfortable to wear) and can't afford many expensive ones so I usually have like only 10 per season.

I have had the same pair of Nike Omar Salazar grey skate shoes for I think 5 years now. I do have 2 pairs of nice shoes that I have kept clean for 2 and 3 years, and by clean I mean like absolutely spotless, I never walk on grass in them.

I have 4 pairs of vans and 2 pairs of handball shoes XD

Holy crap, those look great. But I would never pay that much money for shoes or clothes.
I choose quality over quantity and I'm a practical person. My most expensive pair of shoes cost a bit over 100 euro, got around 20 pairs for different activities.

I think this poll has been trolled, almost everybody* has at least 2 or 3 pairs to go according the occasion (formal, casual, sport, etc.)

*Not to enter an economic debate, but if we have Internet and videogames access I think we qualify
