Hello. I've really enjoyed Skyrim but now I want to play some other game like this. Problem is that I have really low-end PC. I have bout 15-18 FPS in Skyrim and it is fine for me. Is there any game like this? Thanks for your time,

~Carl :)

Well, what about the older Elder Scrolls games? I think your PC would handle both Oblivion and Morrowind pretty well.

Skywind > All, once its finally finished...

Morroblivion works already like a charm

and Morroblivion > Morrowind (just because of graphics, because its the same game huehue)

Oblivion handle well on a low-end system...haha, that's joke, it doesn't even handle well on a previous generation high-end system....one that obliterates the recommended specs (Q9550 (I know Oblivion isn't multi-core optimized even after in tweaks but still, that's a lot of power) and a GTX260) and it still stutters to 0 FPS every other second and runs at 20-40 FPS at best.

Get the Divinity series (recent Humble Bundle), starting with Divine Divinity. I seen someone write on the (store page reviews?) that it is basically an isometric view Elder Scrolls game, and that seems about right.

Comment has been collapsed.

woah, did you actually play them ?
Divine Divinity is awesome.

Beyond Divinity (the sequel to DD) is pure shit, it basically destroyed everything the first one was known for.

the 3d Divinity's are okay again, but Beyond Divinity, hell no, its not even open world anymore, it has different stages and you progress once you killed everything.

I've only played the first one.

+1, this games are very similar to Skyrim, I only played Gothic III, but Gothic games will run good on your PC, you can also kill everybody in this game, not like in Skyrim where you can't kill Jarl's, some mission ppl, etc

Farcry 3 was advertised publicly as "Skyrim with Guns", not Fallout. But yes, Fallout 3/New Vegas both play very similarly to Skyrim.

No, they play more like Oblivion, they actually have attributes and nice RPG mechanics. New Vegas is better.

Darksiders 1 & 2, not open world but nice action rpg's and they run on almost anything. Also Kingdoms of Amalur.

If skyrim doesn't run all that well on his PC then badly optimized darksiders is a no go.

My pc isn't what you would call up to date but it still runs both Darksiders fine and I have about the same fps as OP in Skyrim.

Try Daggerfall, Arena, Morrowind or Oblivion ? if you tried all of them you even can give Redguard a shot

you can play Morrowind in TES4 and TES5 Engine, Oblivion works in TES5 Engine aswell. more info

i can pull off ~20fps playing skyrim on my laptop with minimal graphics... but witcher 1.... that just didnt work out. not exactly a low end machine game

Rather go with Risen 2 then Risen 1, cause Risen 2 was damn bad imho.

This is one of the best RPGs of the last five years, now that it's been patched up and got a proper director's cut edition with the expansion. No, really, one of the absolute best.

as other people suggested, star wars kotor (and kotor 2, with community patch), two worlds (any really) the witcher, 1st 3d divinity (forgot its name, but its 3rd one in series, not the last one), or if you dont mind 2d games you should give Baldurs gate or planescape torment a go. the 2nd one is still my fav rpg, ever, together with fallout 2 :o

The Elder Scrolls - Daggerfall.
(BTW, The Elder Scroll games before Oblivion are free on the main site, except for maybe that Reguard one.)

This is not true, TES III Morrowind is not free.

BUT - Morrowind is what I came here to suggest. By far the best Elder Scrolls game in my opinion.

Back when they didn't hold your hand the whole time. Skyrim and Oblivion are okay, but Morrowind is the best.
