Its real
in fact, you can even buy other games from QD, but the epic store doesnt even have a publisher page, so you gotta search!
as for buying, no...these games are all poorly written. I got to know Cage by his incomprehensible and insane games like Fahrenheit and omikron...with every release since then the games have been more down to earth, and incredibly lame

This is very much personal opinion. I've played all Quantic Dream games (except for Nomad Soul) and I really love them. Beyond: Two Souls is probably the least good one, but I still really enjoyed it. Most of the reviews are correct that this game has the least amount of interaction and feels almost more like a movie. Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain are really good if you like those sort of games (strong narrative). They're not without plot holes but if you can overlook them they're pretty nice IMHO.

The Epic store is a new store that has been causing quite a lot of upheaval since its introduction, just use the forum's search function for more information.

As for your question: while Epic has caused a lot of people to dislike them, hence the "fake" comments, it still remains a legit store. Yes, it's real, QD games are coming to PC. After a year they will be available on Steam (and presumably other platforms) as well, so if you've waited for so long it won't hurt to wait a while longer if you don't want to support the China-based Epic store and prefer having your games on a platform you trust.

The Epic-Store is not China based.
Tencent owns ~40% of Epic but is not in lead in any way.

Ah well, I don't really bother all that much with Epic and the fuzz. I was under the impresson. Anyways, I corrected my posting. Thanks for noticing.

Not to mention that Tencent's own Chinese store is also a thing and it is called WeGame.

40% is A LOT. Even Bill Gates only owns 1.3 percent of Microsoft.

It's real. I'm waiting for it to get to steam, or GOG

you can still wait IMO. Epic might have just sent a shitload of money to Square Enix to release the game on their store.

Even Chrono Trigger is right now on PC. It's just a matter of time. I don't think Square Enix would shoot themselves on the foot.

Besides, Epic would be saying over and over that is a permanent exclusive if it was like that. Even the last episode of the walking dead, the devs are saying that it may come to steam/gog one day.

console exclusive, now on pc but epic exclusive. 😂 well done, devs!

otherwise it's very unlikely they would go forward with a steam release, without Epic´s deal to push a pc port.
That's the reality of console gaming. Sony paid for exclusivity, later they got an investor to help release it on Xbox, and now they got paid to port the games to Epic.

Thats false, without EGS exist QD games still come to PC, earlier this year they announce going multiplatform again and even their CEO said its exclusivity deal for 1 year

They really are trying hard with this "exclusive" BS and so far, it's not doing much for them since they still need to bribe people to sell there... I waited this long for those games, I'll wait another year;

If you are interested in playing the game and want to buy it, then buy it and have fun when it comes out. That game probably won't be $10 again anytime soon on the Epic Games Store. The $10 discount on checkout isn't from the devs, it's from Epic, the game isn't actually on sale.

Not gonna admit it on here, but Beyond: Two souls actually gave me some feels near the end and had me tear up. It was good, nowhere close to Heavy Rain but good...

Man, I loved Beyond: Two souls, finished it in one sitting with a friend (was surprised that the game had a co-op option). But haven't played Heavy Rain yet and you're saying it's even better ? 😱

For me, yes. It really was a unique, first of it's kind when it came out. The dark story grabbed you immediately and had you hooked, you are playing three different characters, the whole story progresses no matter if you fail a QTC just amazed me. As much as I enjoyed that, I loved Until Dawn as well and am debating watching playthrough of A Hidden Agenda. Also looking forward to Dark Pictures: Man of Medan

its actually real, even when im not hapy with its exclusivity at the epic store.
The game has its own small story flaws but its still a very good one. And yeah- i think the team of quantic dream never let us down with their games so far.
Other games are Fahrenheit (PC), heavy rain (PS3,PS4), and decroit becomes human (ps4)

Get in on the PS4 if you have the console, it's a fantastic game and really shines on a good 4K TV.
