Can you activate the Dead Island/SR3 DLC key without activating the SR3/SR2/Risen/Sacred key first?

yes, but only if you already have the SR3 base game on your account.

so if you activate the SR3DLC-Key first and buy SR3 later, are the DLCs gone or will they work?

you can NOT activate the key for "dead island/SR3 dlc" without having the SR3 base game! The key will just not work, giving an error message about the missing base game.

Well the keys are meant for one account/personal use, so if you BTA you already have the base games as well =).

You can activate Dead Island GOTY as stand alone. I don't know about SR3 DLC...

It's the same key. And you can activate it alone, as long as you already have SR3 in your library.

This is offered as a single key code, correct? I bought this bundle in order to create giveaways (or one giveaway?) but don't see the bundle listed for creating yet. It's too bad the codes weren't givien for individual games instead.

Couldn't agree more.. I'm not sure about the BTA's but the non-BTAs are one key, yeah. I was going to buy, but my friend bought it before me and let me know it's one key.. Disappointing coz we both already have SR3 Full Package, I just wanted SR2 and Dead Island GOTY but I don't want to waste an SR3 key just to get SR2 one, and if SR3 Full is the same key as Dead Island then well...that just sucks. D:

Why does anyone care who activates a key, as long as someone pays for it? It's not "sharing" if the key can only be used once.

That's a possibility, though not a great one. I wish I'd known the games were being sold via a single key before I bought the bundle. Also hoping future bundles are not going to be distributed that way, although if you're right they will be.

you get 1 key for the 1$ tier, another one for the BTA and I guess another one for DI Riptide.

Heh the week before I paid $7.49 for "Saints Row The Third - The Complete Package" during the Summer Steam Sale (which is an awesome price)... no idea that I would ended up having access to all of that content and more after BTA with $4.50 =p.
