Which "market" you prefer to buy Steam games? Any why (in comments)
The majority of my games come from bundles, of the non-bundled games that I bought for myself, I would say half are from Steam (cuz Steam wallet is better than spending cash) and the other half are from other stores (when prices are significantly better than Steam pricing)

2715 games, 201 bought directly from Steam.
Lots and lots and lots of bundles and quite a few from official sellers (comfortably more than I've bought off Steam, I'd guess). I don't really do the grey market, traded for 50-100.

i have 3336 games, and i have absolutely no idea how many i bought directly on steam. ^^
EDIT: just counted it. 352 games bought directly in the store.

Yeah I was sad enough to do that. Ctrl+f, search for Steam Store. Still had to make sure I didn't count certain keys that are listed as "Steam Store and Retail key" even then, as the search picked them up as well.

exactly. copy the account details page to a text editor. delete all occurences of "Steam Store and Retail Key". Then let the editor count all occurences of "Steam Store" - there you have it.

as said above, with this method you will also count "Steam Store and Retail Key". so copy the text over to an editor and delete those strings first. :)

i am not even sure, how those strings are translated to german. changed the language to english years ago. ^^

I have client set to english as well, much easier for market use and searching for achievment guides ;) But my browser sets back Steam language back to Polish every time I clear cookies and stored data, which is a lot, so I just gave up switching it back to english every single time ;)

unfortunately automatic count may be a little distorted as shown below:
The LEGO Movie Videogame Steam Store and Retail Key Retail
In my case it will be about half of games so i bought about 50 games at steam store
(it gives food for thought as i have almost 1,5k games)

then just exclude these somewhere before searching, as entioned by KA here: http://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/vWCfojl :>
for me it wasn't an issue as in my language version it doesn't say "Steam Store and Retail Key Retail" ;p

since you apologised for your english, let me just nicely correct you - you buy games from steam store, not steam market. :)
on topic - i got 54 (roughly 4%) of my games from steam, rest are all retail or other keys :)

606 games total, 46 of which bought on steam, a lot more than i expected but then again recently ive been getting free coupons off dumpster groups and getting games for around £0.25 ($0.40) each, sell the cards, make your money back it's win-win :) Though looking back I only had 81 games on the 1st Jan, now five months 9 days later i've acquired 525 more, thats approx 3.3 games a day.... save me Tom Cruise!

My 2 main sources for games other than the obvious Steam Store:
1.) Reddit (/r/indiegameswap & /r/steamgameswap) - Trade cards, TF2 & CS:GO keys for games
2.) TremorGames - Do video offers for coins to purchase games that I want
Edit: I have 406 games on Steam and from that, I've probably purchased around 50 games directly from the Steam Store.

as for sources of games:
My main source are GiveAways :D: about half of my library comes from these.
Then there's bundles.
Before region locks 3rd would be trading, now it's official resellers (Nuuvem for cheap deals, GMG for using PF rewards credit)
I never go to G2A, Kinguin etc.

534 games and only 70-100 bought from steam store :(

According to my history I've bought 17 games out of 300 directly from Steam, mostly when ridiculously discounted. I have 26 bucks in my steam wallet prepared for summer sale, but I doubt I'm going to spend it all, since I will only buy stuff from my wishlist that is 80%+ off.

Hello, first of all sorry for my english.
So, I'm interested in to know how much games peoples have in Steam library and how much of them games were bought on Steam Market. It cannot be used in poll, write it into comment please.
I have 682 games and 17 only been bought on Steam Market.
Why? 95% games can be found much chepaer than market.
(you can found it in account details and CTRL + F and seach "steam store")
Another question in poll, which "market" you prefer to buy Steam games and why? (comments)
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II any leftover lvl 3+
