nope.. as these are the Arma 3 Alpha lite versions.
They can't be posted as regular SG giveaways,

aElder, i just joined their writing staff for their website a couple weeks ago ( I'll be reviewing game dev tools and interviewing indie developers). I guarantee you that this giveaway has nothing to do with boosting CV. The point is to raise awareness of the steam group and the website in general. The editor happens to have a great relationship with the Arma devs; we recently asked for their support and they were super generous! We were actually surprised with the # of keys they authorized us!

P.S. Regarding the 2 retrogrades and any future giveaways sponsored by the website: They really don't have anything to do with CV farming. For the editor, it's just a matter of whether any of the game review staff already owns the game. If 1 or 2 people already own it, then those leftover keys may end up here, always giving credit to the developer, of course.
There honestly is no manipulation of CV or even the thought or mention of it, in any of the daily meeting i've attended. The intention of the giveaways has always about promotion, not anything else. Just letting you know.

aElder, after thinking about it as i fell asleep last night, I am going to talk to the rest of the staff, to come up with a way to avoid this possible scenario. What would we do if Bohemia gave us a huge # of full versions to give away? since that is NOT the case, i hadn't considered, but really what if? hmmm?
I think the correct thing to do would be to divey up the methods of releasing keys, making sure any personal accounts only give out a couple, while instituting the majority of GA's via direct newsletter subsribers, twitter and facebook fans, and non SG, steam group giveaways.
I will talk with our editor later today and we will figure out a good plan, to avoid the possible scenario you mentioned. Thank you, actually for bringing this topic up, because I had personally never thought about it, and now with this new awareness of it, the possible scenario can definitely be avoided! My personal desire is to always have integrity in any of my dealings, whether they are personal or business, and now, with your help, i can insure that this continues! Well the correct way should be have an account on steam only for admin purposes, not a personal account. So that way will be linked to a steamgifts account to giveaway games and not entering on giveaways. That would be the not exploit way.
But here there are a lot of people exploiting keys provided by developers. Would like to see the staff adding it to the reasons of suspension or another way to not count it as contribution. Maybe a special account type would be created on the site for this purpose some time.
BTW It's awesome that you consider it and not omit it :D

Thank you for the insight. As the owner of the website, my primary goal in this is promotion and not greed. When I ask devs for codes, its because I want to promote their game and highlight their work, raising awareness. If we were given such a large amount of full games to giveaway, I would do whatever is fit to benefit the community, not hurt it. I am a gamer like you guys and care very much for the industry, steam community, and steam gifts. This is why I am here. I often found on twitter or our website, I could never be sure who was really a part of the community I was trying to help. By having a steam group, it helps in me in knowing that those who get codes from us have the ability to use them and not trying to just get them to trade off on to friends via twitter. I am always open to feedback and welcome your suggestions. Thank you.
