There was a case where a student from the University of Tokyo threw "crumpled up paper" through a hole in the Rule of paper airplanes and won third place.
If someone in the business of throwing things did it, it would probably be a world record.👀

I remember that vid, I spent a few hours after watching it just folding planes and then the rest of the evening on origami puzzle toys. Here we go again, I guess.
