Now I know people will makwe fun of me for this, but I am a happy person. Sharknado 5 is happening! I love this series. As an avid fan of B movies, this one is on my list of fun ones.

As long as you treat it as a fun movie and not as a good one, nobody can say anything wrong about you :D Dirty pleasure movies, series exist, for example they are terrible, but I just need to see the Resident Evil movies to see what stupid stuff is in the new movies :D

When I realized that there's one out that I haven't seen, I immediately googled if there's a free online way to watch it, and started it at 2 am :D still worth it. SO incredibly cheesy, and I spent more time laughing at CGI than following the plot, but it was still awesome :D

I honestly think the early ones were good :/
They were more focused on horror and less on action (or at least the first one was)
I saw the new on in the cinema and eh, I enjoyed it, but it was pretty horrible imo D:

Can we help you somehow? ;)

Nah, I won't judge. Haven't seen any of the Sharknado flicks. My watchlist is already too huge without B movies. :(

bad movies are the best thing when you want to have a lazy but fun evening - just ignore the people who say they are not, they clearly don´t know what they are missing :D

To tell truth. there are movies that are terrible, but not bad enough to be entertaining.

well yes, but the majority of them is entertainig. and there are a lot of movies of the serious / good quality kind that are bad as well.... depends on taste and we all know that we can´t argue about that.

Oh, I wouldn't know if majority of them is entertaining, they do make hundreds-if-not-thousands of movies every year (like for example most video game adaptations, especially those from Uwe Boll's hands, I don't know if anyone finds those Alone in the Dark or Bloodraynes "so bad it's fun"), but I guess you're right it's all about tastes.

One of the objectively shittiest movies I've ever seen was ZOOmbies, an Asylum movie. I spent about 40-40% of the movie with mouth left open from the surprise that *that* shit is sold as a movie, and laughing about the stupid ideas and just cheering for the characters to die :D
And I still absolutely have to agree with you. There are good movies, bad movies that entertainly bad, and the middle ground that's just painfully meh - that's the worst IMO. I rather remember a shitty movie or game than spend X hours on something that will be just forgotten because of being mediocre.

Yeah, that's exactly what I should write to be more clear.

I randomly remembered the movie I had been thinking of for a while http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114367/?ref_=nv_sr_1

which ended up with me watching 4 non-relevant movies of the entire Phantasm series (which was going to get a 5th movie but I don't think it will) because of the "metal ball"

I'd rather see a sequel to The Machine Girl myself...
Or Peter Jackson returning to his roots of Bad Taste/Meet the Feebles/Brain Dead.

even Super Shark was better than Sharknado. And not just because it had a walking tank.

Making a 'so bad its good' movie is an art and Sharknado is just plain shit.
